For the guys who have been asking how our Mapetrol Oil testing has been going so far. Well we can highly recommend it.

Today we inspected an X30 that had run a total of 10 hours at a 20:1 ratio, and the results were extremely impressive. There was very little carbon build up or wear on the piston, ring, and cylinder bore. The piston ring land and ring showed no signs of sticking or deposit build upped , while the underside of the ring showed no evidence of micro welding.

The chrome face on the ring is beautifully bedded in and sealing extremely well. We also noticed signs that the nano tungsten anti friction coating was beginning to build up within the cylinder hone marks.

All bearings showed smooth, polished surfaces with no signs of overheating. One standout for as was the lack of wear on the thrust washers, which is actually quite rare to see.

Personally, I feel feel this engine could have comfortably run many more hours, especially considering the customer still reported strong power performance.

I've run a few different kart oils over the years, but Mapetrol has been one of the best. The engine feels smooth throughout long race days, piston and bore wear has been minimal, and the plug always comes out looking clean after a meeting. Mixing is easy, it burns clean, and I've had complete confidence using it in all our engines. Definitely an oil I'll keep using.

"Was recommended this oil when getting into the sport and honestly wouldn't even waste my time looking anywhere else. Had my Rotax rebuilt 2 weeks ago and my builder told me my engine looked fantastic!

He said the wear on the internals looked as though the engine could have ran many more hours before actually needing a rebuild haha.

Can't beat it for the price and the quality so if you actually care about your engine then this is the stuff!"
